Gerald J. Brown

My name is Gerald J (Jerry) Brown.

I was a private first class, PFC, working at the Dispensary on temporary duty, TDY, from Ft. Jay with civilian nurse, Ruth Branch, in 1960/61.

I recall, although being a very small military detachment, we had an outstanding basketball team which beat Fort Hamilton, St Albans, etc and went all the way to the 1st Army Championship Tournament at Fort Devons, MA.

I'm attaching a pic of yours truly "canning" a jump shot in APC's victory over Fort Hamilton-----what a privilege to be photographed by some of the best.
