Lillian Ford

LAUREL, Md. - Lillian L. Ford, wife of Edward A. Ford, formerly of Barre, Vt., died March 14, 2001.

She was born in Carbondale, Pa.

She worked for the Army Pictorial Center until she was married in 1963.

After Mr. Ford retired from service in the U.S. Army in 1969, they moved to Laurel.

Survivors include her husband of Laurel; a sister, Phyllis Schattner of Allentown, Pa.; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three sisters, Mary Ladyn, Mildred Potis and Helen Lightbourn, and two brothers, John Ladyn and Peter Ladyn.

A Mass of Christian burial was held March 19 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church and burial was March 21 in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va.

The Fleck Funeral Home in Laurel was in charge of arrangements.
